As an addition to the purchase of a Rolex, the Bucherer Group often includes the famous Rolex espresso spoon. This spoon changed steadily over the years. The first spoons were silver plated and very elaborately manufactured, while today’s spoons are pressed from simple metal, which does not disturb the use as a stylish coffee spoon. The spoon area is decorated and provided with different motifs, including the Rolex crown and lettering, as well as the Bucherer company name, always including “Watches”added at the upper end of the handle area. The spoons also carry the names of the cities where Bucherer shops are located (Lucerne, Zurich, Geneva, Zermatt, Interlaken and Lugano), on the stem. There is also at least one spoon without this town name, which is therefore jokingly called “cosmopolitan.”
