Booklets are instructions and explanatory notes on the watches. As a rule, a buyer will always receive two booklets for the watch from Rolex – a general booklet, such as “Your Rolex Oyster,” in which cross-product explanations for the watches and Rolex are explained, and a product-related booklet such as “Rolex Submariner, ” which specifically describes the model and explains the operation of the watch.
These books belong to the complete collection for a watch and are an absolute must. If these instructions are missing, a search will be made for the corresponding booklets, which, of course, must be from the appropriate year of the watch (if possible). For certain booklets, such as the booklet for the “Orange Hand” Rolex with Ref. 1655, prices of several hundred Euros/Dollars are “normal”. Therefore, it is not surprising that more and more reprints from Asia are appearing on the market.
Since old booklets are not so easy to get, but have so much information for the collector, vintage booklets are provided for viewing on this page.
