Booklets
Booklets are the manuals and explanatory pamphlets that come with the watches.

Normally, Rolex gives the buyer two booklets with the watch. The first is a general one like "Ihre Rolex Oyster" ("Your Rolex Oyster"), which explains Rolex and its watches in general. The second belongs to the model, such as "Rolex Submariner", and also explains how to operate it.
For collectors, these booklets are part of a complete watch. If they're missing, the hunt begins, and ideally they should be from the same year as the watch. For certain booklets, such as the one for the Rolex "Orange Hand" ref. 1655, people now pay several hundred euros. No wonder more and more reprints are showing up on the market.
Old booklets are hard to come by these days, but they hold a lot of information for collectors. So this page offers vintage booklets for browsing.

Many thanks to Markus (Montana-Max), Clifton (Deusirae) and Knut (Stahlmann) from the R-L-X forum, who supplied me with many of these booklets.
